Ingredients
1 lbs (450g) Halal Ground Sausage
1 ½ cups (180g) Bisquick
½ cup (50g) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 tsp (5g) Garlic Powder
¼ cup (60ml) Milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine ground sausage, Bisquick, garlic powder, and cheddar cheese. Add milk and mix until just combined.
Grab golf-ball-sized portions (about 2 tbsp). Flatten slightly and place a pea-sized cheese piece in the center before sealing. Roll into even balls (1.5–2 inches in diameter).
Place balls 1 inch apart on the baking sheet. Bake 18–20 minutes, rotating halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
Notes
Use plant-based sausage for vegan option
Replace Bisquick with 1 cup cornmeal + ½ cup flour mix
Use non-dairy milk for lactose-free
Chill ingredients beforehand for better texture
