Description
A vibrant, creamy guacamole made with ripe avocados, zesty lime juice, fresh cilantro, roasted jalapeños, and bold seasonings. This easy, no-cook dip offers a harmonious balance of freshness and heat, perfect as a vibrant accompaniment to chips, tacos, or grilled vegetables.
Ingredients
3 ripe avocados (preferably large Haas)
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (or parsley as a substitute)
1/4 cup finely diced red onion
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1–2 jalapeños, seeded and chopped (roast for smoky flavor)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt (preferably sea or Kosher salt)
Instructions
Select avocados with soft, slightly yielding skin for optimal texture
Roast jalapeños in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes to intensify flavor
Blend lime juice with 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small bowl to create a brine for easier mashing
Halve avocados and remove pits before mashing with a fork until chunky
Mix mashed avocados with lime-brine mixture
Fold in red onion, tomates, cilantro, jalapeño, and garlic
Adjust seasoning with remaining salt to taste
Chill for 10 minutes before serving to let flavors meld
Notes
For a vegan version, ensure salt doesn’t contain animal products
Green onions can replace red onion for a milder profile
Skip tomatoes for extra chunkiness
Ripe avocados prevent browning—dice immediately after peeling
