Description

This Garlic Rosemary Turkey Tenderloin is a delicious, high-protein meal perfect for busy weeknights. Featuring fresh rosemary and savory garlic, this dish uses a searing method to ensure the poultry remains succulent and moist. By pairing the tender meat with roasted onion wedges and a light broth reduction, you achieve a restaurant-quality meal in under 40 minutes that is both wholesome and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs Turkey Tenderloin
4 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 medium Onion, sliced into wedges
0.5 cup Low-sodium Vegetable Broth
1 tsp Salt
0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, pepper, and one tablespoon of olive oil in a small bowl.
Pat the turkey tenderloins dry with paper towels and rub the herb mixture evenly over the surface.
Heat the remaining olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the turkey for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Tuck the onion wedges around the meat in the skillet.
Pour the vegetable broth around the base of the turkey.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Rest the meat for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure you use an oven-safe skillet like cast iron. Let the turkey rest before slicing to keep the juices locked in. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
