Ingredients
1 tube (14 oz / 400g) crescent roll dough
8 oz (227g) cream cheese (use halal-certified)
4 oz (113g) sliced turkey breast (halal-friendly alternative to ham)
0.5 cup mozzarella cheese (as halal cheddar substitute), shredded
1 cup fresh spinach (or thawed frozen)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
Beat cream cheese and minced garlic with a pinch of salt until smooth
Chop turkey breast and mix with shredded mozzarella
Wilt spinach in microwave (30 seconds)
Combine all ingredients for the filling
Unroll dough and cut into 8 triangles
Fill each triangle with 1 tbsp mixture and seal edges
Place on an ungreased baking sheet
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden
